New Report Charts San Diego Youth Well-Being
As seen in the San Diego Voice & Viewpoint: The Policy & Innovation Center’s new Youth Well-Being Report brings together nearly 20 years of data to examine how San Diego County’s young people are faring across education, health, and economic stability.
The report highlights persistent disparities among youth across the region, while providing policymakers, educators, and service providers with data to help identify where additional attention and investment are needed. Alicia L. Jurek, PIC’s Director of Research and lead author of the report, emphasized the importance of using the findings as a starting point for action and listening directly to young people about their experiences.
